Golden Milk is simply a concoction of:

  • Coconut milk/cream
  • Turmeric
  • Ginger
  • Black Pepper

You may have seen Golden Milk popping up at hipster cafes and prepackaged at Wholefoods and wondered what all the hype is about.  Not hype!  Golden Milk has long been celebrated in India for its health benefits and is often referred to as the Spice of Life.

Golden Milk's two main ingredients, turmeric (curcumin) and ginger, are very powerful anti-inflammatory agents and anti-oxidants among numerous other health benefits including improved digestion, regulating blood glucose, and even protecting from some cancers. Black pepper increases the bio-availability of these compounds to your system (over 2000% for curcumin) while coconut milk and/or oil provides an excellent source of cholesterol balancing medium chain triglycerides and prebiotic support.
